CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS: MULTINATIONAL TRAINING ON DIVERSITY AND INTERCULTURAL LEARNING

Dear teachers and artists, dear cultural practitioners and headmasters,

The organising partners of the Europe-wide project “Europe in Perspective: International Co-operation in Cultural Learning” are looking for pairs of artists/cultural practitioners and their school partners to take part in a multinational training course on diversity and intercultural learning together (no participation fee).

These “pilot trainings” will focus on topics related to diversity and intercultural learning (in a European and transnational context) and are intended to provide insights and understandings which participants will be able to apply in the course of their general professional practice.

As part of the development of a modular training concept, they will also test the actual stage of the training units. By sharing their experiences and reflections on the training course with the organisers, the participants will set impulses to improve the training and shape it by the needs of professionals in culture and education.

The “pilot trainings” will be taking place at three different countries:

20. – 25.02.2018, Germany/Berlin
10. – 15.04.2018, England/Liverpool
05. – 10.06.2018, Hungary/Budapest

There is no participation fee and accommodation as well as meals during the training days will be covered. (We do our best to provide accommodation in single rooms.)

Travel costs can be reimbursed up to 300 Euro on display of the original tickets after the training. If your travel costs exceed this amount, please get in contact with us in advance and we will find a way to make your participation possible.

The language during the training will be English. Unfortunately, translation cannot be provided.

So if you …

are already actively involved in working in partnership to deliver programmes or projects in schools
want to explore diversity and interculturality within your local area
are interested in adapting a new perspective into your work
are motivated and willing to exchange and share experience on a European level
motivated and willing to reflect on the training concept after taking part and to give a detailed feedback

… form a team with your school/cultural partner and jointly register for one of the “pilot trainings” following this link:

https://machform.bkj.de/108005

Registration deadline is 10.11.2017. (The number of participants is limited. Please make sure you register as soon as possible.)

Here, you will find further information on the idea and structure of the training.

If these details don’t answer your questions, please get in contact with Laura Mattick (+49 (0) 21 91.79 43 87 //mattick@bkj.de). She will be out of office until 24.10.2017 but after that she is more than happy to help!
In urgent matters, you can also contact her colleague Rolf Witte (witte@bkj.de) before that, of course.

We’re looking forward to your registration and active participation!

All the best from England and Germany
